The Global Geophysics Expertise Group (KK) is one of the expertise groups at the ITB Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering which has a good publication reputation. Based on data from Google Scholar. KK Geophysics Global has an h-index of more than 30 with a number of citations exceeding 5734. Most of the publications carried out by members of KK Geophysics Global are in scientific journals that have a high reputation, both national and international journals.

As a form of service, the Global Geophysics Group held a webinar on writing high quality scientific papers that are suitable for publication in International Journals (Q1). Scientific paper writing webinars are held in series with several speakers who are also members of the Global Geophysics Group.

In the first webinar series, there were two speakers who had high scientific reputations, namely Prof. Ir. Sri Widiyantoro, Ph.D., IPU and Prof. Dr. Andri Dian Nugraha. The webinar was held on Thursday, 11 June 2020 at 13.00-15.00 and was open to lecturers, students, researchers and the general public. Dr. David Prambudi Sahara as the moderator of this webinar activity said that the participants’ interest in the webinar was very high, this was shown by the number of registrants exceeding 300 people in less than 2 hours since the webinar was announced.

To provide an opportunity for participants who cannot register, the committee provides a YouTube channel, so that those who cannot register can still take part in the webinar live streaming on YOUTUBE.
